September 15, 2008 - Halifax
In September of 2008, Thompson Conn Limited purchased Eastcan Geomatics (
www.eastcan.ca),
one of Atlantic Canada’s oldest Mapping and GIS companies.
The purchase added an aerial survey component to Thompson Conn’s
already strong Land Surveying group, allowing both companies to expand
their customer services and build on each other’s strengths.
Eastcan will provide Thompson Conn with increased IT support while
Thompson Conn will provide a number of topographic survey opportunities
for Eastcan. Eastcan’s team and equipment moved into Thompson Conn’s
offices in mid-October.
